While every care is taken with all garments or articles entrusted to us and whilst we use the most advanced cleaning process, all garments or articles are received and processed solely at the owner's sole risk and we do not accept liability for any loss or damage howsoever caused.
All garments or articles are accepted on the basis of being used and of second hand value.
As responsibility cannot be accepted in respect of leather, buttons, buckles or ornaments, we advise customers to remove same.
The onus is on the customer to inform us of specific cleaning instructions, especially in the absence of a cleaning instruction label. If your garment or article is damaged or destroyed because it was not dry-cleanable, we will not accept any liability. If your garment or article is damaged, destroyed or missing due to a rush order or same day service request, we will not accept any liability.
All garments or articles unclaimed after 60 days will be sold to defray expenses.
All items will be washed together by default. Articles which need to be washed separately should be requested to be washed as such. De Schone cannot be held liable to any damage done to an article which has not been specified to be washed separately. Requests for separation of laundry will incur additional charges at the relevant prevailing rates.
We will not be liable once the garment or article has been inspected and accepted and the customer has removed the same from the store or received upon delivery.
ALL CURTAINS AND BEDDING ARE CLEANED AT THE OWNER'S RISK. It is the responsibility of the customer to remove any and all vinyl linings (block out) from the curtains before bringing the curtaining for cleaning.
